A new phone within the economy category phones hit the Egyptian market a while ago, which is the Samsung Galaxy A13 phone, and in this article we will review the specifications of the new phone, as well as its price in the Egyptian market.
the design
Phone weight: The Samsung Galaxy A13 weighs around 195 grams.
Dimensions of the phone: 165.1 x 76.4 x 8.8 mm.
Screen Size: 6.6 Inches.
Screen protection degree: The phone screen is protected by a layer of protection from Corning Gorilla Glass of the fifth edition.
Screen Aspect Ratio: 20:9.
The phone supports two SIM cards, SIM 1 and SIM 2, Nano size.
- The phone supports adding an external storage card with its own independent port.
The phone supports Type-C port.
The fingerprint sensor is located on the side of the phone.
The traditional 3.5mm headphone jack has not been dispensed with.
The design is very basic and made of plastic, as you'd expect at this price point, but it's also nicely curved and well put together, in other words it feels like a phone that Lasts a long time, and we like the way the rear camera module is integrated into the back of the phone, in the top left corner and this is something Samsung is doing with all its Galaxy phones this year.
At first glance you might feel that this phone is more expensive than it actually is and when that is the case, then you know that the design and engineering team has done a good job.
You've got the volume controls on the right as you look at the phone, and it's just below the power button along with the built-in fingerprint sensor, we prefer these sensors to be built into the screen, but it's hardly a deal-breaker There's a USB-C port on the bottom, and next to it I also found Samsung's 3.5mm headphone jack.
Putting cover
-Type: PLS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16 million different colors.
- Size: 6.6 Inch.
Screen resolution: 1080 x 2408 pixels.
Screen pixel density: 400 pixels per inch.

Samsung Galaxy A13 sports a 6.6-inch LCD display with 2408 x 1080 resolution, which does a good job with websites, photos, videos and games. It's appropriately bright, vivid and crisp, and while there's no support for HDR or anything above a 60Hz refresh rate, it didn't. We had no real complaints about the screen.
There's a notch at the top of the screen in the middle, the rounded corners of the screen appear slightly rounded, and while these screens don't quite match the standard OLED standards that Samsung adheres to on some of its more expensive phones, it's still a good fit for the phone. One of the best parts. Overall, the Galaxy A13, but you won't get standard options to adjust color vibrancy and temperature.
camera
– Primary Camera (Rear): Quad-lens, the first with 50-megapixel resolution, which is a wide lens, with f/1.8 lens slot, the second with f/2.2 lens slot, with 5-megapixel resolution, which is an ultrawide lens and the third one with f/2.4 lens slot with 2 megapixel resolution which is a macro lens, and the fourth one with 2 megapixel resolution, with f/2.4 lens slot, it's background separation and portrait feature, Takes pictures through autofocus and an LED flash which helps in night photography.
Features: Geo-Tagging, Touch Focus, Face Detection, Panorama, HDR.
Shooting Videos: The phone can shoot 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.
– Secondary Camera (Front): 8-megapixel single-lens camera with f/2.2 lens slot, and it is capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.
Like a lot of cheap phones, the Samsung Galaxy A13 has more lenses than you'd expect, but doesn't do much extra.
There are four of them in total, a 50-megapixel camera, another 5-megapixel lens, a 2-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel depth one. On the video side, the phone is capable of up to 1080p footage at 30 frames per second.
The 50MP main camera is the star of the show, you can get some really great shots with the phone in good lighting with plenty of time to hold the phone steady, no optical zoom but the digital zoom does an acceptable job of extracting details while HDR processing keeps on details visible in the lightest and darkest areas.
We noticed some blur and distortion in the ultrawide mode, and the camera struggled in low light. The pictures you'll get in the dark aren't great, but they're useable in some situations. On the front is an 8MP wide-angle selfie camera that covers the basics well, although it doesn't do much else.
